Discover Therapy with Jess | Virtual Therapy for Adults in Washington State
Life is full of challenges…
But, you don't have to stay stuck suffering. Maybe anxiety has taken over your life, childhood experiences still shape how you feel, or chronic stress has left you exhausted and disconnected. You may be navigating a major life change or simply wondering why you no longer feel like yourself. While challenging emotions are part of being human, there is a path forward towards increased joy and meaning.
How can therapy help?
Therapy is not a quick fix, and it certainly won’t stop life from throwing you curveballs. However, therapy can help you heal, reconnect with yourself, and build a life with greater peace, resilience, and fulfillment.
The magic of therapy is the dynamic space that is created specifically for the development of your goals and best interests. No where else in life can you enter into a professional, confidential space that is uniquely tailored to your life experiences, and where you feel radically comfortable and safe to authentically express yourself. Chatbots and artificial intelligence can give you a roadmap, they can mimic empathy, and they can deliver information. But they cannot replicate the the bone-deep sense of safety and trust that stems from human connection. The power of this therapeutic alliance, plus weekly accountability to practice new insights and skills, is why countless people have found therapy to be a transformative investment in their lives.
What is your approach to therapy?
My approach is strengths-based, depth-oriented, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, anti-racist, and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate Existential therapy, Attachment theory, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative therapy, Solution Focused therapy, parts work, Buddhist psychology, mindfulness, polyvagal theory, your spirituality, and other evidence-based approaches to support healing and personal growth.

Raver-friendly therapy
You find deep fulfillment in attending raves, concerts, and music festivals, and wants to find a therapist who gets it! I have been attending live band and electronic shows for the past 15 years and I know how transformative these experiences are. My most recent festival was Shambhala Music Festival in BC, Canada.
You are starting to realize the status quo is no longer serving you. Maybe anxiety is running rampant, you are constantly tired but wired, or you are experiencing low energy or motivation. You might be feeling clouded, like your intuition isn’t reachable, and it feels hard to make the right decisions. Maybe you notice the beliefs you have about yourself and your life are limiting you from accessing your potential. You want more joy but it feels just out of reach.
I create a safe relational space where you can fully express yourself, integrate your past, feel more present, and have confidence and hope in the future.
Therapy for the seekers and spiritually inclined
I specialize in helping the psychonauts: those who explore expanded states of conscious, and who seek out mystical and spiritual experiences. Maybe you are highly sensitive and mystical experiences come to you easily, but you have a hard time learning from them and making sense of your unique experiences. Maybe you are exploring meditation but you are having a hard time coping with what comes up. I would be honored to walk with you as you integrate your experiences, develop new insights about your life, and move forward confidently in making changes in alignment with your highest self.
Cannabis-friendly therapy (21+ only)
Cannabis is legal for adults 21 or older to use recreationally in Washington State. Cannabis is a psychoactive substance with a helpful spirit that many people miss engaging with directly. It has a fascinating capacity to help us either tune in or tune out.
I work with cannabis users who are seeking a different relationship to the plant - one that is more intentional, collaborative, and healing. Cannabis has incredible power to deliver insights and new ways of thinking that can be leveraged in support of your healing and growth.
